To abstain from the manufacturing, the sale and use of any intoxicating elements; Prov 20:1, 23:29-32, Eph 5:18, I Thess 5:22,
To not participate in any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bestiality, incest, pornography, or any attempt to change one’s sex; Ex 22:19, Lev 18:23, Lev 20:13, I Kings 14:24, II Kings 23:7, Romans 1:18-32, I Cor 6:9-11, II Cor 12:21, I Gal 3:13, Tim 1:8-10, Jude 1:7;
To uphold the definition of marriage as sanctioned by God to be between one man and one woman in a single exclusive union and will not allow the marrying of any two individuals who are not a man and a woman, as created by God, by our ministers or in our congregation*; Gen 22-24, Matt 19:4-6, 1 Cor 7:1-16, Col 3:18-19;
And to be zealous in our efforts to advance the work of the Saviour; Jn 15:16, I Cor 15:58, II Cor 5:20.

To remember each other in prayer; Heb 13:18, Eph 6:18.

To cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; I John 3:17-18, Jas 3:13, Col 3:17, 4:6
To be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the laws of our Saviour, to secure it without delay; I Cor 6:7, Mt 18:15, 21-22, Rom 14:19,
To elect Biblically qualified men in the role of deacons to care for the widows, fatherless and needy or distressed members of the church as well as provide wisdom in an advisory capacity to the pastors in the overseeing of this church body, Acts 6:1-6, I Tim 3:8-13,
To exercise discipline of any members who persist in sin by seeking to restore the offending member through repentance or removal from church membership should the individual refuse repentance, Matt 18:15-20, I Cor 5:5, 11, 19-20, Gal 6:1, Jam 5:19-20, Tit 3:9-11.
We, moreover, engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with another New Testament Church of like faith and practice where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Work; Acts 9:19, 18:27 Rom 16:1-2, Heb 10:25, Gal 1:9.
